Trip to Omaha NE
Over the summer, Dave/Jacque & Chris and I took a road trip to NE to shop and visit the Henry Doorly Zoo :). It was a good time to just relax, have fun and goof off!
This picture was taken in the Old Downtown section.
I ordered a drink called "Pond Scum"..... it was pretty disgusting. LOL I drank half, then I think Dave finished the rest of it. It came with plastic frogs floating on top hehe.
We also went gambling, I won over $20 on the penny slots! WooHOO!

This is the start of the Zoo pics. I have to say... I was fairly impressed by the zoo, it was pretty big!
The entire "desert area" was inside a huge glass dome, very neat, although it was a bit stinky in there....

I thought it was kinda neat that they had several different cages of hummingbirds. It was cool to be able to see them up close!
We all thought this was a little cruel.....the lions just have to watch little "ham steaks" walking around all day!!!! LOL
The Bat exhibit eeeeeeeeek!
This is one of only like 13 White Alligators in the world!!
Look at their eyes glowing.... kinda freaky
We were able to catch "feeding time" for the polar bears. Surprisingly, they were fed things such as cantaloupe, celary and carrots.
We found these guys just wondering around.. LOL

The Zoo had an IMAX theatre, we watched the 3D deep sea movie!
One of the coolest things was the underwater tunnel. We had all sorts of fish swimming right over us!
Hope mine never look like that!!! LOL
hmmmmm, Ace Ventura really wasn't joking, they really do eat the bugs off each other! LOL
Yup, we've all looked like this before!
